PAVING FABRIC

Paving fabric is a bitumen-saturated, nonwoven polypropylene or polyester geotextile placed between an existing pavement surface and a new asphalt overlay.
Paving Fabric (also called Asphalt Overlay Fabric or Geotextile for Pavement) is a nonwoven geotextile used in road construction and maintenance to extend pavement life, prevent reflective cracking, and improve waterproofing between old and new asphalt layers.

Improves load distribution and enhances pavement strength.
Reduces stress between the old and new asphalt layers, minimizing reflective cracking
Prevents water from seeping into the pavement base or subgrade.
Prevents intermixing of materials from different pavement layers.
